Jada Wooten (Brown ‘24) is from Ann Arbor, Michigan, and double concentrates in Education Studies and Dance. She pursued an independent study working as the final Artists and Scientists as Partners apprentice. Jada also collected ethnographic data to support the grant writing for Hattie Ide Chaffee Nursing Home’s dance and theater programming. Jada plans to pursue a second independent study to foster Dance for All People’s (DAPpers) apprenticeship program, continue her research at Hattie Ide Chaffee Home, and explore avenues for K-12 students to get involved with DAPpers.
